Student United Way
When we bridge the gap between campus and community, we can all grow healthier, dream bigger, and accomplish more good - because United We go further.
The KU Student United Way chapter was founded during the 2019-2020 academic year by sibling duo, Courtland and Lorre’al Triplett. Since their founding, the organization has worked with a variety of community partners to serve and lift up the campus and Lawrence Communities. One of the organization’s signature projects is Hungry for the holidays, a fall semester food drive in collaboration with KU Student Housing. This project and other accomplishments earned the KU Student United Way the title of New Student Organization of the Year by the KU Student Involvement and Leadership Center in 2020.
